Last Meal on Earth

We are in this world eat to live not live to eat. Eating is very important for our survival in the future and therefore don't skip your meals and eat regularly but not excessively. Talk about eating, of course we certainly have a favorite food from traditional to modern food. If you asked me what my favorite food, I will reply very much! Almost all of the food I eat  except it's poison and garbage. I'm not too fond of sweets and salty food, I tend to prefer foods that taste is not too strong but not too salty, such as healthy and organic food. But sometimes I also eat sweet foods like chocolate and milk. I also love cheese, I could spend six pieces of cheese that was for myself, but really I'm not a maniac. Hmmm talk about food did you ever think that if one day or today is the last day of your life on earth? Do you think the next time I'm not in this world anymore what the last meal you ate? If ever, of course for those who love food will be difficult to answer, but I was in the spirit of answered my mother food! Anything cooked by my mother, if today is the last day me at the world. Because there is nothing better than cooking your own mother. But if I were to choose any cuisine, I'll answer black pepper beef. Indeed I particularly liked the black pepper beef of my mother, mix with broccoli wow really delicious! I will never forget the taste and also include a favorite food of many dishes from my mother. Yes, even though all of my mother's cooking is always tasty.

The Letter for My Younger self and My 10-years-later self.

Dear, My Younger self.
Hi my old self...
I'm sorry for everything that I have committed before, everything that makes the people around me don’t like me and far away from me. How stubborn and selfish myself that makes people uncomfortable with me and it all becomes a pit of sadness in my life then and now is still a trace. Please forgive me because I was not good enough to make the happy story in my past life. I feel my happiness only until the time I learned to walk and after that it feels very difficult and painful. Many things have I been through and I just can buried thath all in  myself and also I can’t remove it until now. I'm so sorry why from the beginning I was so weak, I always defeated by the weak and now I became hated myself.
We  live in this world is very short and I felt I had to waste time in vain. Sorry for my family if I’m not enough make you all happy. I'm always bothering you and be a burden to you, especially my mom and my dad. I feel don’t deserve your kindness, but you always be good and love me, that’s why I only trust my family even though so many people and friends around me.

Dear, My 10-years-later self.
To myself 10 years later. I just wish you one thing, be the best for yourself and for those around you. Just forget things that have passed, make it all the lessons for you and be the stronger and more resilient in the future later. Assure yourself for success and make happiness of your parents and of course happiness for myself. I hope someday in the future I can be happy and successful, no matter how difficult obstacles that I face.
The past is just a regret and there’s no point if you are still considering it and just be a hindrance yourself later.

This is part of the letter that I want to say to my younger self  and myself  in the future. Thank you for reading.

(Agri)culture Shock

THINK THE FARM TO TABLE MOVEMENT IS HOT? THE IVY-LEAGUE-TO-FARM MOVEMENT IS EVEN HOTTER ALTHOUGH IT OFTEN TAKES TIME FOR PARENTS TO WARM TO THE IDEA.

When people ask Robin Apton what her two sons do? She happily tells them that one is a lawyer and one is an organic farmer. "They're all intrigued by the farmer." she says "Nobody asks me anything about the attorney?”
But when Max Apton initially announced that he had quit his job in journalism to farm in Hawaii, then in Vermont, now in an Exurb of New York she didn't speak to him for two weeks. And that was after Robin "finally stopped crying on the kitchen floor," she now admits. Her emotional response had more to do with the fact that he was moving far away than with what he was planning to do there, but she was plenty concerned about that too: "To be perfectly honest, I was just hoping he wasn't going to Hawaii to learn how to grow pot."
Parents often respond with surprise, confusion, and a lot of skepticism. After all, many have been hyper involved in their kids' schooling for a long time and nurtured entirely different dreams of their success.
It's just that the values they often instilled-independent thinking, creativity, passion, commitment to others-are playing out in a way they never expected. Once they get over the shock, they often come through with support.
Apton was converted when she visited her son in Hawaii and then on a farm in Vermont and saw both his happiness and his deep commitment to the work. "This is someone who grew up in a very nice home in Westchester county," says Apton, herself an Ivy League graduate. "I was like, 'wow, you're living in a trailer with no electricity. You must really want to be learning what you're learning.' "
Max, a University of Wisconsin grad, is now field manager at Stone Barns center for food and agriculture in Pocantico Hills, New York, the epicenter of the farm-to-table movement in the east.
For many parents, the initial reaction stems from fear of the unknown. Without agriculture in their past-or with it at least a few generations removed-the typical concern for a child's well-being is refracted through traditional notions of farming: it's risky, physically demanding, and not notably lucrative or socially respected, although that is changing.
"It's not the easiest job in the world to make a living at," says Jacqueline Allen, whose daughter Danielle has farmed for 13 years. When it became clear that Danielle was set on her career path, Jacqueline mostly just wondered how it was going to work. "I didn't have farming in my background, and I didn't know anybody who was a farmer," says Allen, who spent three decades in corporate marketing. "This is all new territory."
Danielle, who grew up in Norwalk, Connecticut, sees the same attitude in the parents of friends and of the apprentices she hires. "They're not openly disapproving, they just don't totally understand."
Other parents fear exactly what they know all too well. Leah Penniman owns soul fire farm with her husband, Jonah vitale-wolff, in Upstate Grafton, New York, where they use the land as a vessel for social change by bringing diverse communities together.

Favorite Place Travel

So many things that we can do when holiday, from gathered with the family at home, play into the garden with friends, hang out to the mall and so many more. But if you get a chance for a long holiday, what will you do? Of course you'll go travel with friends, family or just yourself.
So where I will go if I get the chance?
In Indonesia certainly many places can you go to travel, some destinations are frequented by foreign travel is Bali, Lombok, Raja Ampat, Yogyakarta.
In Kalimantan, especially West Kalimantan you can find a place to travel you can go to the beach at Singkawang and waterfalls in some other places.
But the most I liked was Jogjakarta, why? Many things you can found in Yogyakarta, from beautiful sights, the tasty and cheap food, cheap shopping place, the people were friendly and much more. If you have once time go to Yogyakarta you'll feel want to go there again.
Jogja is very beautiful, you can see the volcano at close distance from the plane when you will land, you can also find tasty food and cheap shopping at Malioboro and Bringhardjo market like trinkets, souvenirs, clothes, traditional foods such as Bakpia and Winko Babat or roadside food like satay, meatballs, gudeg and there is also a typical drink from there is wedang ronde. Wedang ronde is warm drink ginger with milk, peanuts and jelly and then something like mochi in it. In Malioboro you can walk with other travelers there, or ride delman (horse-drawn carriage) and becak (pedicab) you can also rent a motorcycle.
When walking make sure your stuff are safe and you feel comfortable, we will not be felt already traveled far because there are so many who sell and very crowded.
Not only that, if you want to learn while playing you can go to Taman Pintar, Taman Pintar is a place where there are so many games you can play directly but could be a way for us to learn science, logic and others. Make sure if you go there with your friends, because it will be more exciting if we learn while playing together.
If you want to go to the beach, in Jogja also have beach, but I only got the chance to go to the Parangtriti beach. Unfortunately the beach is not able to swim because the water was so high waves and this beach in Bantul, you need 30-40 minutes to get there when from the city of Yogyakarta.
If you wish to extreme water sports you can try out rafting, but it was not in the area of Yogyakarta. I forget where the place it was, but I had ever been there and very exciting!  You can feel the adrenaline as the waves carry you and you try to fight it so you not fall during paddling inflatable boat with your friends. After the adrenaline, you can enjoy the waterfalls and swim in the creek but deep enough.
You want a closer look at the volcano? Walking on the foot of a volcano? Go to Kaliurang, Kaliurang is a small town in Yogyakarta is located close to the volcano, there are also many other tourist attractions you can go.
Many things you can find in Jogja, not only from what I explain but if you want to know more you can direct to Yogyakarta and explore Yogyakarta.

Let's go to Jogja!
